  • Annual Salary: $80,000-$120,000 – Open for the right candidate
  • Hours: 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM.
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Contribution toward an individual health insurance plan

Ideal applicants should have good judgment and a composed, courteous, adaptable, calm, logical, and rational character. Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills & detail orientation but be willing to do whatever is needed on any given day. Be able to show that they have held long-term positions in the past
Solid time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills who takes initiative and responsibility for their work. Persuasive with solid diplomacy and negotiation skills. High emotional IQ and communication skills. Discreet respects personal space, and not looking for a best friend. Will anticipate requests and have solutions ready. Sensitivity to household needs, dynamics, and assignments. Able to work well with other staff, children, and pets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the gatekeeper of external vendors as the primary representative of the principal family and be fully responsible for all aspects of property management.
  • Act as the senior member of all domestic staff and have the ability to fill in for other staff members.
  • Ability to travel with family when needed.
  • Assist the principal family in all aspects of administrative support from the calendar management.
  • Must be able to plan and execute varied events.
  • Own the reporting and communication of the household staff and team performance to the principals.
  • Must be efficient, detail-oriented, and timely.
  • Should be able to create and maintain a household manual for other household staff.
  • Manage estate budget and keep track of all estate expenses?
  • Overall property management.
  • Needs to be level-headed and must be able to make good judgment calls.
  • Must have knowledge of good business practices.
  • Perform any other tasks, within reason, required by the employer such as – picking up and dropping off children to appointments.
  • Arrange with outside contractors for any work to be done.
  • See to the upkeep and maintenance of the property.
  • Plan and execute events for the family and household.
  • Greeting and caring for guests and visitors.
  • Project manager for all of the principal’s projects.
  • Research for needed products/solutions and understand markets.
  • Able to collect and analyze information to prepare a report.
  • Maintains the principal and family’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, calling conferences, traveling, and reviewing for conflicts.
  • Remembers birthdays, and address book/all contacts are complete and up-to-date.
  • Helping to prepare for meetings; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Can help plan, lead meetings and represent the principal in her absence.
  • Provides historical reference by developing, utilizing, and maintaining filing and retrieval systems and recording discussions.
  • Interviewing potential hires for freelance or full-time positions.
  • Supervises household employees and any hired vendors and assists in maintaining two homes and ensuring they are running smoothly (maintenance of equipment, making purchases, and returns).
  • Helps plan, manage, coordinate, and household projects, parties, mailings, and ordering gifts.
  • Planning Events and Coordinating with vendors.
  • Deal with household needs/repairs (Plumbing, technology- TV, internet, phone).
  • Shopping (not limited to groceries, Amazon online cart, researching and preparing birthday and thank you gifts/flowers, holiday gifts, and more).
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Maintains office and house supplies.
  • Vaccinated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy – possesses excellent computer software skills, including Microsoft Office, Google, and Apple
  • Strong people skills.
  • Professional, discrete, courteous, and friendly demeanor.
  • Organized, has sound judgment, and pays attention to all details.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize (time management and sensitivity to schedule and being on time are essential).
  • Ability to work independently and be a proactive team member.
  • Experience managing multiple calendars.
  • Experience booking travel and managing logistics.
  • Research potential work projects and topics of interest.
