Nanny- Long Island NY – Part Time
Job Details:
- Days: 4 days per week – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour
- Hours:
Monday (morning drop off every other week, back up if child home sick from school every other week)
Wednesday afternoon 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Thursday (drop off a child at school, otherwise flexible all morning unless child home sick), 2:30 pm – 6:30p
Friday (morning drop off and back up if child home sick) and 1/2 day every other week
This part-time position is very unique and requires great flexibility, especially during the mornings.
A busy, Long Island family with three children is looking for a mother’s helper, who is responsible, reliable, nurturing and an excellent driver. Seeking someone who can step in and assist with tasks like school drop off/ pick up, homework help and simple meal preparations for the children. All applying candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. There are no pets in the home.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely drive children to school
- Pick-up children from school on time, adhering to all school pick-up procedures
- Transport children to activities, play dates, etc
- Tidying up after children
- Oversee and assist with homework for the oldest child
- Simple dinner preparation for the children
- Assist with nighttime routine including bathing and teeth brushing
Requirements:
- Driver’s license with excellent driving record and reliable vehicle
- Able to speak and communicate well in English
- Legal to work in the US for any employer
- Exceptional references from past and current employers
