Housekeeper- Montclair NJ – Part Time
Job Details:
- Days: 3-5 days per week, Monday – Friday
- Hours: 10:00 PM- 3:00 PM Flexible, can start after 10:00 AM – 16-25 hours per week.
- Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour
- Paid time off for holidays and accrued paid time off for vacation / personal/sick days.
Montclair-based family with infant children is looking for a super organized, experienced housekeeper who is a self-starter and can anticipate needs and step in to help wherever needed. There is a 6-year-old dog in the home.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Clean and maintain all aspects of the home.
- Laundry – washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing.
- Kitchen management, meal prep, and cooking.
- Organizing closets, shelves, drawers, pantry
- Make beds, change linens and swap out used towels.
- Vacuuming, dusting, and mopping the kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain household inventory including cleaning supplies and restocking items when needed.
- Weekly dry clean drop-off in town.
- Kitchen cleans up at the end of the day.
- Periodic deep cleaning of the windows, oven, fridge, and outdoor areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of related experience working as a housekeeper in a private home.
- Excellent references are required from
- Able to work independently.
- Flexible, organized, and able to manage time.
- Legally able to work in the United States for any employer.
- Speak English.
- Must be vaccinated.
