HNW Experienced Housekeeper/Laundress- Rye NY – Full Time – Live-Out
Days: 5 days per week, Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $35 – $45 per hour

Description:
Westchester- based, HNW family is looking for an experienced, knowledgable, efficient and highly qualified housekeeper/ laundress with executive housekeeping qualities. The candidate must have experience working with other domestic staff members. Housekeeper must be hands-on, reliable, and hardworking. The housekeeper must know how to provide full cleaning services for a 22,000+ square foot home. The ideal candidate will know how to operate around high-end clients. Currently there is an estate manager in the home.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of general housekeeping and cleaning of entire residence
- Make beds daily and change towels and linens as desired
- Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms, counters, kitchen, floors and vanities
- Laundry duties as needed including ironing, organization, steaming, dry cleaning etc.
- Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
- Check the consistency of all rooms and ensuring all items are in the appropriate places and standards are met
- Proper knowledge of cleaning supplies and the surfaces
- Ensure all storage areas are clean and organized and shelves are clearly labeled
- Inspect cleanliness of residences from top to bottom
- Clean furniture and fixtures as directed while using only approved products
- Cleaning the kitchen daily after meals including washing dishes
- Restocking and taking inventory of household supplies
- Care and maintenance of silver, crystal, china
- Ability to work with museum quality items (art, furniture, antiques, silverware)
- Assist with set up, service and clean up at dinner parties and other events in the home
- Strive to create a safe, and supportive environment for the home
- Additional housekeeper duties as needed and requested by the principals
- Proficiency in English, some Spanish is ok
- Minimum 4+ solid years of related experience working as a housekeeper in a high-end home
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
- Ability to work with museum quality items (art, furniture, antiques, silverware)
- Flexible, organized, and able to manage time
- Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, ironing and storage organization
- Legally able to work in the United States for any employer
- Drivers license and proficient with the English language
